PRE-SCHOOL CLASSES

Tiddlers: Ages 2-3 years

A parent and child class. This class is very much a hands-on experience for you both. A lot of interaction between parent and child is required. 

For this age, parents join in to promote confidence while following the instructions of the teacher, no one is expected to participate 100%, which is the beauty of the class. 

Tots: Ages 3-4 years (Starting Reception in September 2027)

A parent watching class. Growing the child’s confidence to work independently from their adult. We also introduce tap dancing for the first 5 mins of class.

For this age, parents remain in the room and watch. This helps to promote confidence while following the instructions of the teacher while gaining valuable independence. Our classes focus more on stories, props and enjoyment of dance. 

For our Tiddlers and Tots classes dancers are advised to wearing shorts/leggings with a t-shirt to start with unless you have a little ballet outfit already, fancy dress is also fine (we love to see a room full of Elsa’s), and we welcome the freedom of choice and self-expression. 

Ballet and tap shoes can be sourced from us, or we can point you in the right direction to get some, after a trial.

Our studio has a no outdoor shoe policy to help maintain a clean working environment for all (this includes parents).
