BALLET/LYRICAL & TAP classes

     Reception & Year 1

The main focus is to continue to build confidence and the basics in both ballet and tap. 

Introduce stage/performance experience and start to develop skills remembering steps linked together. 

     Year 2 & Year 3

Broadening our ballet and tap technique, expanding on our stage/performance experience and continue to build confidence. 

Increase our understanding of choreography and special awareness. 

     Year 4 & Year 5

Enhancing our stage presence and building on the foundations with a wider range of movement and technique. 

Year 6 & Year 7

Exploring the world of lyrical (ballet based technique) and tap dance by learning short combinations and routines. 

The aim of this class is to encourage expression of movement and work towards a greater knowledge of both lyrical and tap. 

Year 8 to Year 11

Progressing at a higher level of ability and knowledge of both tap and lyrical.

Focusing on our stage and performance technique while expanding our ability and understanding in the world of dance, safely and correctly.
