Introducing more lyrical based movement to compliment our good foundation of ballet while being able to express it more freely.

Year 6 & Year 7
The aim of this class is to encourage creative expression through movement while building a comprehensive foundation in both lyrical and tap dance techniques.
In the lyrical portion, dancers learn to convey storytelling, fluid musicality, and emotional depth through contemporary and ballet-infused movements.
In the tap portion, the focus shifts to precision, rhythmic coordination, and sound clarity, helping students develop a strong sense of timing and auditory awareness.

Year 8 and above
The aim of this class is to encourage more mature expression of movement while working towards a comprehensive knowledge of the lyrical discipline.
This class is designed for dancers progressing at a higher level of technical ability and artistic maturity.
A major focus is placed on refining their performance technique, teaching dancers how to captivate an audience and project emotion, while expanding their creative boundaries and understanding of the wider dance world, dancers will train under strict professional guidance. Every lesson is conducted with correct anatomical alignment, safe dance practices, and core stability to ensure that advanced lyrical skills, such as fluid turns, sustained extensions, and dynamic jump are executed safely, correctly, and sustainably.

Year 8 to Year 11
Progressing at a higher level of ability and knowledge of both tap.
Focusing on our stage and performance technique while expanding our ability and understanding in the world of dance, safely and correctly.
The aim of this class is to encourage the dynamic expression of movement while working towards an advanced knowledge of the tap discipline. This class is designed for dancers progressing at a higher level of technical ability, speed, and rhythmic complexity.
A major focus is placed on expanding their understanding of the wider dance world, including various styles of tap from Broadway, The West End and more.
Each lesson incorporates correct weight placement and safe ankle flexibility to ensure that advanced tap skills, intricate syncopations, and high-impact steps are executed safely and correctly.
